The civil war that had troubled Lebanon in the 70's and that was mainly motivated by forces that wanted the division of the country and the religious fanaticism is the subject of this shocking film.
The death of their mother leads a pair of twins to the notary in order to read her will.There 2 envelopes will be given to them.The first one is for their father who is supposed to be dead and the second one for their brother whose existence was ignored so far..
?hese events will lead them to a road trip in Middle East.There they will discover the truth of a woman very different than the person they knew as a mother.
By uniting the pieces of their mothers story they are going to discover her tragic fate marked by war and hate but also the bravery of an exceptional woman.
Without any doubt ''Incendies'' is one of the most shocking films of the year.
