Review of In Time (2011) by Joanne M — 22 Sep 2013
Philippe Weis: For a few to be immortal, many must die.
Will Salas: Wrong!
"Time Is Money".
There are just some ideas that you may think look good on paper, but turns out to be something worse than you imagined when actually seeing it on screen. That's what exactly happens here due to it's clumsy writing and silly dialogue. The directors and writers can't seem to make some sense behind time is money and fail on the intriguing concept unfortunately. Even the actors didn't sounded stupid with what they had to say. Justin Timberlake did a decent job with what he's given. Amanda Seyfield looks hot and all and does a horrible acting job. Cillian Murphy as the time keeper was great and underused of course... Speaking of underused is Olivia Wilde. My dream girl on the screen for about 5 minutes maybe?? Come on! In terms of visual style and production, very cool looking with some digital cinematography. I was left only wanting better writing!
