Review of In Time (2011) by Brian C — 11 Oct 2012
In Time is a wonderful sci-fi type thriller where people have a limited, and known death time. They have a countdown clock embedded in their arms counting down to when they die. People work, gamble, and steal to get more time. Oh yeah, and people stop aging at 25.
Timberlake's acting is pretty bad, as is most of the cast. Even Cillian Murphy seemed to be going through the motions. Which is too bad, because the script is quite good and the ideas are quite grand.
It is very sad really that every day people are living knowing that they will die soon without help, and the poor are kept segragated from the rich, and the rich keep getting richer. oh wait, maybe this is a documentary about real life.
Seriously though, In Time is a very fun movie to watch.
