Review of In Time (2011) by Mimi S — 31 Oct 2012
An accurate, if overly simplified critique of capitalist structure, In Time doesn't take itself seriously enough to effectively attack the inherent injustice of society, yet also fails to capitalise (excuse the pun) on it's silliness.
Timberlake and Seyfried are likable enough leads but fail to deliver really attention-grabbing performances. Ultimately, a good concept, let down by average execution.
