Review of In Time (2011) by Steve B — 15 Apr 2014
A lot of sci-fi movies take onboard the idea of tags and monitoring the population count, in this movie it works a little different as each person has a timer on their arm, a countdown to death so to speak and in order to gain more time you can exchange between each other and earn more.
The story isn't too confusing to follow and does have a sense of urgency to the plot as our hero, Timberlake is constantly keeping an eye on his time while he races around trying to gain an understanding why the rich are living longer, the young in the ghetto's are dying out and prices on consumables and commodities are rising fast.
Is there a connection? A general fast pace to the movie which works well, a bit of action thrown in and an interesting concept.
