Besides an intriguing and thought-provoking premise, it is the casting that takes this film over the edge for me. I'm not a big fan of Timberlake, but he has a chemistry with Seyfried that gives creedence to the whole Bonnie and Clyde thematic that Niccol obviously was going for.
Definitely deserves to be put on the same shelf as some of the other great science fiction films that have been released in recent years.
