Review of In This Our Life (1942) by Film F — 15 Apr 2013
2: This forgotten John Huston did not go where I thought it was heading. The story lacked narrative drive, especially in the first act, while the performances were a bit hit or miss. Bette Davis was high strung and potent as always, while Olivia DeHavilland was angelic, but nothing really stood out or drew me in.
All in all I'd say the fact that this film is mostly forgotten is not an oversight.
