Review of In the Valley of Elah (2007) by Wolf H — 22 May 2009
Sarandon proves again why she is one of the most talented actresses to grace the big screen even though she has only 2-3 appearances within this film. The telephone scene between her and Jones is griping.
The movie slowly unweaves a mystery without much action or special effects, but definitely has a political message. Oh, get better military consultants...I dislike picking apart army aesthetics.
