Holy crap. Love the reference to the fabled site of the fight between the Israelites' David and the Philistines' Goliath -- the valley of Elah -- and how it ties into the meaning of this truly moving albeit dark film.
Tommy Lee Jones is fantastic, as is the rest of the supporting cast, some of whom only make brief appearances, such as Barry Corbin, whose performance was amazing. Great film. Really gets you thinking.
.. And, purely from a storytelling/entertainment perspective, it'll keep you guessing all along the way...
