Review of In the Name of the Father (1993) by Peter H — 06 Mar 2013
An incredibly emotional and powerful picture which, through the wrongful and unjust struggles of individuals, portrays the spirit of an entire nation. Wonderfully written, directed, and acted including masterclass performances by Day Lewis, Postlethwaite and Thompson.
It's as much as a personal journey about a man and his relationship with his father as it is a story of judicial corruption. Simply incredible.
