Review of In the Name of the Father (1993) by Eduardo B — 28 Apr 2010
Simply powerful. With an incredible cast and direction, this true story hits solidly. The film follows Gerry Conlon who is wrongly imprisoned, along with friends and family, for politically-driven bombings in 1970s London.
As the title implies, there is also a deep father-son relationship that unfolds and drives emotions. I am still disgusted by the injustice depicted in this film.
