A sadly unappreciated gem. Along with genuinely disturbing imagery this film takes you on a voyage into madness and H.P Lovecraft inspired horror. Sam Neill gives dignity to the descent into madness with solid acting which contributes to great pacing of the film.
If you love horror and H.P Lovecraft ignore the critics - this film is amazing.
