Review of In the Mood for Love (2000) by P. P — 16 Mar 2011
This the second viewing for me of this beautiful film but the first time I have had the pleasure of watching the Criterion version. The colours are gorgeous and supersaturated. This quiet, understated love story is very affecting.
This is a good movie for writers because one of the characters interweaves his own experiences in to his fiction. The music is beautiful and every frame painterly. A visual feast!
