The British humour was typically dry & the dialogue was extremely forced and windy. The characters were mostly mumbling motormouths; throw in an occasionally heavy accent to make it even more incomprehensible.
The hype about this movie's supposed biting political satire was truly unwarranted. The one commendable quality, however, was the character Simon Foster's berating of virtually everything & everybody in the film. This is something easy to relate to after sitting through this pompous, overrated drek...
