Review of In the Line of Fire (1993) by André Ø — 10 May 2008
I think this film marked the beginning of the Clint Eastwood renaissance. Directed by Wolfgang "Das Boot" Peterson, Eastwood is great as an aging secret service agent trying to stop a would be assasin promising to kill the President.
John Malkovitch proves once again that in order to be truely great, a hyero must face a really good villian, and Malkovich is terrific as the would be assasin.
