Review of In the Line of Fire (1993) by Bob S — 11 Feb 2009
A great hero and a perfectly maniacal bad guy makes this movie so appealing. Malkovich's assassin gains the respect of he audience mostly due to the panache he desires. You have to love the cat and mouse conversations between Eastwood and Malkovich.
What you may find odd is the romance between Eastwood and a much younger Russo - come on now. This is one of Petesen's best efforts; however, it is starting to show its age.
