Review of In the Heat of the Night (1967) by Tim O — 14 Nov 2007
If the movie came out even ten years later, the movie would be a 3 or 3.5 star movie. However, the racial equality theme was ahead of its time, sadly enough. It's hard to believe that racism exists as much as it does today, not to mention reverse racism, which is just as bad.
Sidney Poitier is solid in this movie. He has a real air about him.
