Review of In the Heat of the Night (1967) by Mark K — 18 Nov 2007
The most compelling film about Southern race relations in the '60s. It doesn't preach; there's no singing of "We Shall Overcome." It's just a story of two men struggling to understand each other in a changing world.
Sidney Poitier and Rod Steiger at their best.
