Review of In the Heat of the Night (1967) by Thomas P — 07 Feb 2008
They call me Mr Tibbs. Moody, accurate little detective drama with stellar acting throughout from Sid and Rod. The murder plot is effectively inconsequential against the backdrop of racial tension in the dirrty south.
Some sick white trash worthless hicksville rednecks vs Mr Perfect Black Man Poitier (with Rod Steiger somewhere down the middle).
