Review of In the Heat of the Night (1967) by Rory D — 17 May 2011
It gets racism right, and showing how it can be eliminated in some. And of course, Poitier and Steiger are great andthe camera work captures the beat of the hate-drenched town, along with capturing all of Poitiers simmering perfomance as the man they call "Mr.
Tibbs".
