Review of In the Heat of the Night (1967) by Robert P — 25 Mar 2014
Complex racial and geographical politics at play in this masterpiece. Great chemistry between Rod and Sid turns this into a superior and subtle buddy movie. "What do they call you up north, Virgil".
""They call me Mr Tibbs". Most of the prejudice is signaled by eye movement or small gestures makes this compelling.
