Review of In the Heat of the Night (1967) by Spalding S — 04 Feb 2010
Great pace and some legendary scenes, pushing boundaries at the time and still powerful. Feels like this and Mississippi Burning belong together as a kind of tonic to crass attempts to comment on issues of race like in the film Crash.
