Review of In the Heart of the Sea (2015) by Aaron G — 16 Jul 2016

I wanted, so very badly, for this movie to be good. This story has always fascinated me. Unfortunately, like so many "based on true events" movies, the darkest, grittiest parts of the true story, the very things that draw us to them, were skimmed over, leaving us with a movie that felt as empty as a whale carcass.
