Review of In the Heart of the Sea (2015) by Ratedrex — 30 Apr 2016
Great story, great special effects, great sets, costumes, production design and sound editing. Why didn't this movie get more Oscar consideration for these awards. Actually, the biggest problem with the film is that the white whale encounter isn't dramatic or terrifying enough.
The original 'Moby Dick" with Gregory Peck did a better job of conveying the terror of confronting a monster whale. However I still recommend it. Its better than you think.
