Review of In the Good Old Summertime (1949) by Heather M — 15 Jan 2008
My favorite film version of the play "Parfumerie." you can take "Shop Around The Corner," and "You've Got Mail," (I'll fight you for it, but you can take it). Give me Van Johnson and Judy Garland and their awkward genuinely angry repartee.
Sure, Garland's jitters may be because of pills, but I prefer to think of this as the unsung highlight of her career.
