Review of In the Dark Half (2012) by Nathaniel M — 26 Jan 2013
Atmospheric but confused, this strange hybrid of mysticism, suburbia and grief has an unusual winter colour pallet, some fantastic sound design and a couple of good performances. It reminded me in places of Wake Wood, Admissions, Lucky McKee's The Woods and Session 9, which probably makes it sound more derivative than it actually is.
The promise of good things to come from the director.
