Boring. I suppose it had some great moments, specially because of the so-called GREAT performances by Sissy Spacek and Tom Wilkinson, however, this "great performances" or the "amazing screenplay" end buried between yawns and moments when audiences fall sleep and miss about 15 minutes of film.
I suppose I have to see it again and push Pause everytime I feel like sleeping but until then, this is a boring film, regardless the great performances.
