Review of In the Bedroom (2001) by Remy R — 04 May 2011
Exquisite film. All three of the leading cast were something quite close to perfect; such subtle, full, and layered performances by Sissy Specek, Marissa Tomei, and Tom Wilkinson. It doesn't try too hard, and yet is overwhelmingly cathartic throughout.
If you are a movie watcher who loves dysfunction and morbidity (as I do) you will enjoy this.
