Review of In His Life: The John Lennon Story (2000) by Cristian T — 08 Dec 2009
Having had the benefit of The Beatles Anthology - the writers were able to be historically pretty accurate. With certain scenes lifted straight from it (as well as John Lennon: The Definitive Biography).
There were some really well done moments in this film, and touched on the earlier life of John before (and then including) when he met Paul and George.
I really enjoyed watching this especially the scenes of the day John met Paul, and George "auditioning" for the Quarry Men. Scenes that Beatle fans can only dream of being there for, and this film helps bring these events alive more for us.
