Review of In His Life: The John Lennon Story (2000) by Anca B — 10 Oct 2007
Not bad. A decent account of Lennon's early days. It was made for television, so nothing visionary film-wise here, but the use of Elvis' "Love Me Tender" during Lennon's response to his mother's death is pretty touching.
See it once, but don't plan on watching it again. I'm looking forward to seeing "That'll Be The Day", which was reportedly based on John's early days, and many people seem to love.
