You can see this movie coming from a mile away. While it's charming, well-acted, and occasionally chuckle-inducing, overall it is flat, predictable, and uninteresting. I'm a big Curtis Hanson fan, and, of course, Toni Collette is brilliant, but this film is unnecessarily long and bland.
