This shouldn't have went straight to DVD. Ringo Lam and Van Damme's 3rd team up brings us a prison thriller/drama that is wonderfully made, dark and twisted, and shows Van Damme in a non-martial arts but wonderfully acted role.
Okay, so the prison movie has been done to death, but something about In Hell manages to keep you hooked and is one of Lam's better films to date. Don't let the cover put you off either. Damn distributors don't know how to be honest these days!!
