I think the trailers for this when it came out sold it wrong (Young Hotshot dates Boss' Daughter.. Hey, wasn't that a crap Ashton Kutcher-Tara Reid flick?). Simple but really good. For some reason, any role Dennis Quaid plays as a dad just gets me right.
.there (like in Frequency, but not the Cheaper By The Dozen-ish crap he did a year ago).
