Simply put, the move doesn't make sense.
It doesn't have a supernatural sting, but a lot of the parts are obviously supernatural. How did her hair get pulled in the first fifteen minutes? The guy would have to be on top of the car to manage that. Things appear and disappear from everywhere with no rational reason.
It's a good watch, but only that. Giant plotline holes are distracting and tough to ignore.
