Review of In Dreams (2013) by James E — 03 Jul 2009
This is without a doubt one of the worst movies I have seen in a very long time. Basically, Annette Bening plays a complete nutcase who spends most of the time either screaming, throwing stuff about the place or trying to kill herself.
When she is not doing this she apparantly has a psychic link with a child-killer. Everything about the film is completely dull. All the colours in it are extremely grey and boring giving the film an even more depressing vibe towards it.
On top of this, the plot is just one giant plot-hole. You have no sympathy with any of the characters as they are all cliched and unbelievable. The quality of the acting is atrocious. Every single actor in the film is guilty of over-acting taking away even more credability to the characters.
If you are looking for entertainment, I would recommend scooping your brain out with a plastic spoon over watching this rotten apple of movie.
