Review of In Cold Blood (1967) by Sondra M — 19 Jul 2007
Superb adaptation of Truman Capote's book....it is a rare film that is as good as its literary source, and this film certainly qualifies....Conrad Hall's cinematography, Quincy Jones' score, Richard Brooks' direction, but most of all the performance of Robert Blake.
...all of those together make for one of the finest American films ever created....still powerful 40 years later.
