Review of In Cold Blood (1967) by Kurt S — 09 Jun 2013
Such a superb film from start to finish. From the acting, cinematography, music, editing. Richard Brooks should be put in a class along the lines of Orson Welles. It's almost if Welles adapted Capote, whether or not that was Brooks' intention.
However Brooks made a film close enough to the heinous true event the book and film are based on. One of the greatest movies I've seen. How movies should be made.
