Review of In Cold Blood (1967) by David W — 08 Oct 2007
Enthralling adaption of Truman Capote's book chronicling the events leading up to and beyond Perry Smith and Richard Hickock's murder of a wealthy rural family in 1959. Robert Blake and Scott Wilson not only look like the real people they portrayed but act incredibly.
The sense of reality and unease is maintained thorughout - not least knowing this was based on true events.
