Review of In Cold Blood (1967) by Evan A — 24 Dec 2007
A forgotten masterpiece of the 60's, ICB is a stark, straight-forward retelling of the circumstances that led to a senseless murder of a helpless family, and the criminals' aimless wanderings that eventually led to their capture.
The cinematography is perhaps the most stunning b&w imagery I have ever seen in a film, creating some iconinc images and portraying emotion when the characters show none.
