Review of In Cold Blood (1967) by Gordon C — 27 Nov 2009
People like this film because it showed violence, but really, it shows how strange our court system is. Two seemingly innocent guys (Robert Blake, Scott Wilson) are somehow connected to a murder because their friend acted like a snitch and because a footprint was found on the floor. It argues that it could be both ways: we killed two innocent men blamed by one's lustful desire to gain the wealth of a family (but possibly shunned due to Perry's dreams) and because of assumptions made by detectives not necessarily trained in the entire wiping out of a family.
Or we rightfully caught two shy murderers.
What should I do?
