Review of In Cold Blood (1967) by Alec B — 09 May 2016
In Cold Blood (1967) ????
The 1960s answer to GONE WITH THE WIND: two losers slaughter innocent family for absolutely no reason. Acting (particularly by Wilson, even more so by Blake), dialogue, direction, score, editing, and especially photography, are world-class; an authentic American classic. Based on the Truman Capote book, which was based off a real life incident. No end credits, an arty innovation for 1967.
