Review of In Bruges (2008) by Nick R — 25 May 2013
Everything about this film was a pleasant surprise. It's witty, playful, poignant, and poetic--all without missing a beat. It's gorgeously composed, yet strikingly violent at times. All of this is on top of some of the finest performances in recent history for these actors.
I can imagine this being a film that I could go back and watch over and over again and learn something new each time. A modern classic.
