Review of In a Valley of Violence (2016) by Seamus M — 08 Jun 2017
Really!?! "offers a smartly conceived homage to classic Westerns that transcends pastiche with absurdist humor"?
Just a horrible waste of time depicting idiots killing each other in some faux-style western and a poor dog has to be thrown under the bus to boot. Dialogue better suited for a teen slasher flic than an 1880s shootem'-up. Was there really that much body shaming and sarcastic use of the word "really?" going on then? There were moments when I thought I was watching the longest and worst Seinfeld episode never released.
It just came to me, this pos must have been written by a teenaged daughter of the Grand Poobah of the church of scientology, lower case intentional.
If mail-it-in acting, tired plot lines and nonsensical shootem'-ups are now a genre, I guess this is .....good?
