Review of In a Lonely Place (1950) by Jimmy M — 20 Jul 2009
A relationship pushed beyond the breaking point. nicholas ray directs a noir of a different kind. theres less emphasis on the crime that takes place in the story and more on how the crime and its implications put stress on two people.
bogie is at his most volatile in this film. one of the best noirs ive seen lately.
