Review of In a Lonely Place (1950) by Roy P — 24 Jun 2007
In A Lonely Place is a real great noir, probably one of the ten best of them ever made. It's not Bogart's best performance, but certainly one of his most in-depth characters. This is not completely noir though - more like a character study/drama that's set up by a noir type of story.
I highly recommend it.
