Review of In a Lonely Place (1950) by Terri H — 05 Oct 2008
Bogie is great and so in this sizzling script and great lighting under the skillful wing of Rebel Without a Cause director N. Ray. Gloria Grahame gives as good as she gets and the film keeps you guessing well right until the end.
Imagine Charles Bukowksi in 50's Hollywood writing noir...and you're almost there...
