Or "Hævnen" meaning The revenge in Danish, is a sophisticated story dealing with the subject of responding to violence/aggression. The cinematography is breath taking, dialogue often takes the back seat to the mental state of characters whose evolution and catharsis is skilfully painted on screen.

For me, the only problem was occasional slow down in intense interactions but it became rather manageable when I realized and invested myself enough to understand the inner struggles of main characters.

My warm recommendation.
