This film contains some of the best acting I have seen in any film. Tom Wilkinson and Sissy Spacek are simply actors that have reached the next level of their craft. I hold the belief that Tom Wilkinson is the second best American actor alive today.
Todd Field writes and directs another masterpiece. The cinematography is stunning, the score is amazing when it's there, and the editing is tight and really really fucking good. An all around very well made film.
I heart you, Todd Field.
