Review of Immortal Beloved (1994) by Janne P — 31 Dec 2009

I really wanted to like this film, seeing that I consider Amadeus one of my all time faves, but I was really dissapointed. Gary Oldman does a suberb job as the legend himself, but the storytelling is a mess, accents are ridiculous and rest of the cast is quite underwhelming.

I started to think Immortal Beloved was originally intended to be a miniseries and was hastily re-edited for cinematic release.
