"IMMORTAL BELOVED" (1994) is a gem of a movie! Though it may be rife with historical inaccuracies, the movie's incredibly slow pace has been surprisingly effective in building up to that final moment where the emotional peak's sudden interruption finally leads to the dreadful consummation of the maestro's tumultuous romantic life.
Gary Oldman's performance was praiseworthy. Such a perfect casting for one hell of a role. Even I couldn't have done better. BRAVO!
